Spain Vacations

Summary
Spain Vacation Packages are going to immerse you in picturesque villages, architectural splendors, beaches that you will never want to leave, and foods that are only enhanced by the wine selections.
Life in Spain IS a fiesta; colour everywhere you look, happy people everywhere that love the great outdoors and an overall sense that you are in an incredibly safe environment (the crime rate is fairly low in Spain, as the locals are welcoming, warm and friendly to their neighbours and to visitors).
The best part about the beaches in Spain is the diversity. You have the Mediterranean coast full of little coves/inlets with long beaches & calm waters. You also have the Atlantic coastline with whiter sand beaches and cooler waters, and Galicia is blessed with rias that provide even more sandy beaches. Some of the best beaches are Rias Baixas, Costa de la Luz, Cabo de Gata, Playa del Silencio, and the Illas Cies area.
Culture
Spain Vacation Packages are going to explore the richness of the Spanish culture for your further enjoyment while on vacation here. The Spanish culture is a varied one, originating with the Phoenicians, Moors, Iberian, Celtic and Roman heritages. The Spanish language (which is the main language of Spain) derives from a form of Vulgar Latin with smatterings of Iberian, Celtic, and Gothic & Andalusian Arabic. After the 14th Century, Spain became mostly a Roman Catholic country.
Over time, the Mediterranean & Atlantic environment aided in shaping the Spanish culture and the Spaniards contributed globally by way of literature, paintings, sculptures, architecture, cinema and the arts.
Exploration
You will not be looking for something to do for long with Spain Vacations; almost every month of the year are festivals (which are great to enjoy in-between adventuring). The Semana Santa runs from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday; Feria de Abril is the April festival that sometimes lasts until May, and the Festes de la Merce is held on the third Sunday of September, and is one of the biggest!
Some main sights to take in would be the Mezquita, Plaza de Santa Ana, Museo Del Prado and the La Sagrada Familia.
Food
With the Vacation Packages in Spain, you will learn that cuisine/food plays a big part of the backdrop to the countless festivals that happen regularly in Spain. Originally, Spanish cuisine derived from cultures that were Roman, Andalusian, Moorish and Jewish. Olive oil, pork, beans, tomatoes and peppers are vastly used in ancient cuisines, as well as modern day culinary dishes.
Tapas is ever-popular in Spain, and for the most part, nothing has changed much with the preparation of meals. Preparation is still done by hand, and ingredients are purchased freshly at local open-air markets. Beverages include wine, beer, sherry, and sometimes hot chocolate to submerse churros (fried dough pastry) in.
Nightlife
The nightlife in Spain is known for lasting to the next morning (Vacations in Spain are unlike anything you have experienced before, so be prepared to become a night owl!). The hours of 8 pm – 12 am are typically spent nibbling on Tapas and listening to some live music or a theatre performance, then from 12 am to 4 am, the crowds move onto dance clubs and after that (and if you have the energy), you can hit a DJ bar or one of the beaches for more dance music!
Great bars to visit are the Shoko, Ice Bar, Opium Mar, the Catwalk and Sotavento; they are by the marina and beaches, and in Barcelona, try Razzmatazz.
